A fellow Comedy Garage founding father Paul Danke is emerging as a fan favorite in the Los Angeles comedy circuit. Paul Danke performs at the hippest underground shows for comedians, shows like Tiger Lilly, Holy F!@k and 12 Shiny Nickels. Paul Danke trained at the prestigious Groundlings comedy theater, and his fun campy style is what you think of when you think comedy in Los Angeles. Paul Danke is making a name for himself nationally with his popular tweets often featured by Witstream, a service by comedian Michael Ian black which highlights the funniest tweets.
The preview looks a little lackluster, but I'm still excited for this movie. It was Plaza's first collaboration with Carey (an awesome sketch talk show called The Jeannie Tate Show ) that launched her film career so the two obviously work well together. Then there's the whole thing about how there are so rarely teen comedies that feature girls as the main characters — the ones who are making jokes and trying to have sex — as opposed to the love interest/pretty body that the main character wants to have sex on. Besides Alia Shawkat is in it and she's scientifically proven to improve everything she touches.
Second, you want to pick out something that is comfortable to be walking around in all night, you don't want a big think costume when you are going to be in 80 degree and humid weather, but sometimes if you find that perfect costume you might just have to take the heat. Third is cost, with movie costumes you usually get what you pay for but if you are looking for a good costume you can definitely find something great and not break the back, but if you want an over the top the extra cash is normally worth it.

A Midsummer Night's pun Comedy clearly owes a lot to Shakespeare, most notably evidenced through the film's title. (I haven't yet seen Smiles of a Summer Night, the Ingmar Bergman film which Woody claims inspired this film.) It's was also great to see Tony Roberts in another Woody Allen film again. He was one of my favorite parts of Annie Hall, and he was just as great in this film.
The Heartbreak Kid (1972) - Voted by the American Film Institute as one of the 100 funniest films ever made, the film stars Charles Grodin as a Jewish sporting goods salesman who leaves his new bride to pursue a blonde coed (Cybill Shepherd) he meets on his honeymoon. Eddie Albert received an Oscar nomination for his role as Shepherd's over-protective father. Wow. That must have been a trip being cast in Parks and Rec , since you cut your teeth at Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater in New York, which was co-founded by Amy Poehler. Big full-circle moment.
